Question:

I am allergic to cats, but I have one at home. However, I don’t have itchy eyes all the time, is it possible that I am not allergic to cats anymore and, instead, to be allergic to something different?

Question:

Hi, I'm from Spain. Two years ago, I have an anaphylaxis process, very high. I had to go to my emergency hospital and they told me that it was quite severe, they give adrenaline, I couldn`t breathe well...
The causes are not clear, and that is my question. All the reaction started when I use a cream on my food. Before I took a pill of Ibuprofeno and the cream also has a component related with Ibuprofeno. Half an hour after I used the cream I started with all the reaction, on my hands, on my intime parts (at the first time)...on my body.
They have made me the triptasa analysis, but it was ok. Also they have made me the allergic tests and the results were not clear. Is it that normal?
Doctor says that I have to take the injection of adrenaline and urbason with me for ever, and also not to take Ibuprofeno although it is not clear. So I'm worried to have an anaphilaxis again and not to know exactly what has happened. In another ocasion, I have a reaction eating in a mexican restaurant with the pepper that makes me fall down. And again the results were not clear. And in another ocasion I take Amoxicilina and I started t o have a reaction on my skin, but again test says that I don`t have any problem with this drug. So....it is strange, and I'm worried about that.
Thank you very much

Answer:

Dear Laura,

Indeed your reactions seem to be anaphylactic reactions by the symptoms you describe. It seems that some are related to medications (ibuprofen, amoxycilin,...), and although you assure that the diagnostic workup was negative, it would be necessary to know if these con
